The block-in is the start of a drawing or painting. In a block-in, we figure out basic proportions and placement of things in our drawing.

We’ll start with the basics—learning to block in objects. We’ll start with simple 2D shapes and progress up to more complex 3D objects. Your final project will be a chair from life in perspective.
